A 6th grade class from Lincoln Middle School in Washington, DC. The model Sun is represented as a tactile sphere. The model planets are not only laser-sculpted in 3-D inside crystal, but are also provided as raised hemispheres, together with the planet names in bas-relief, to promote tactile learning and for the vision impaired.
